The chassis is a key component of the excavator. It carries the weight of the entire fuselage. It is driven by the walking drive unit to realize the walking of the excavator and protect the normal operation of the excavator in harsh working conditions.
The excavator chassis consists of four wheels, which are: rollers, drag sprockets, guide wheel tensioning device assemblies and drive wheels; the first belt is the crawler track.
01 Driving wheel
The driving wheel is the power transmitter of construction machinery excavators and bulldozers. The driving wheel is generally directly connected to the driving motor and directly transmits the power to the crawler track, thus driving the entire chassis forward.
SDLG driving wheels are precision cast from aluminum molds and have no casting defects.
Small and medium-sized excavators use high-hardenability manganese alloy cast steel, which has good hardness and toughness after quenching and tempering and medium-frequency induction quenching. Large excavators use highly hardenable molybdenum alloys to further improve strength and impact toughness.
Using aluminum heat treatment, segmented induction quenching, advanced technology.
02 Supporting wheel/supporting sprocket
The rollers are used to support the weight of the excavator while rolling on the guide rails (rail links) or track decks of the crawler tracks. They are also used to limit the crawler tracks and prevent lateral slippage. Let the tracks follow the wheels.
SDLG rollers/supporting sprockets adopt heavy-duty roller bodies, which are forged and deeply hardened to prevent deformation and improve durability and lifespan
Full penetration weld, no welding defects, ensuring the overall strength of the wheel body, the welding strength is greater than the material strength of the wheel body.
The wheels and axles are finely ground and then polished to reduce roughness, reduce friction, reduce temperature rise and sleeve wear, and increase service life.
Use induction quenching and tempering to improve the wheel body's ability to resist lateral extrusion.

03 Guide wheel
The guide wheel is an important component in the traveling system of excavators and other equipment. The function of the guide wheel is to guide the movement of the crawler track. Together with the tensioning device, it can maintain a certain tension on the crawler track, mitigate the impact force from the road when moving forward, and reduce the vibration of the fuselage.
The SDLG guide wheel is welded using high-hardenability cast steel or high-quality structural steel, with high weld penetration and no welding defects.
Small and medium-sized excavators use high-quality forged structural steel and high-strength ductile iron, which are suitable for high-speed and light-load conditions; large excavators use high-hardenability cast steel, which is suitable for low-speed and heavy-load conditions.
The guide wheel body is normalized or quenched and tempered. Its basic strength is 25% higher than that of traditional ductile iron materials, and its elongation is 50% higher than that of traditional ductile iron materials. It has high strength and high wear resistance.
04 Track shoes/chain rails
The sprocket is a component that guides the forward direction of the crawler track, and the chain connects the sprocket wheels so that the crawler track can move more smoothly. Track shoes are used to cover the entire track to protect and support it.
SDLG track shoes are made of boron steel alloy, which has excellent tensile strength and wear resistance;
Adopting spray and pressure quenching process, one-time molding, good hardenability, uniform hardness, tensile and wear resistance, and long service life.
SDLG's chain rails are produced using a hot die forging process with precise dimensions and uniform grain refinement.
Increase the hardening depth and high hardness of the pin to improve wear resistance and reduce the possibility of breakage.
New polyurethane rubber seal improves sealing performance, reduces wear, and is suitable for harsh working conditions.
Advanced processing equipment to ensure the smallest tolerance on the shape and position of the chain rail
