Analysis of Common Faults of Oil Pump
(1) Low oil pressure, insufficient oil supply, abnormal noise of the engine, and even failures such as grinding tiles and grinding shafts.
The reason is that the flow rate of the oil pump is low. The low flow rate of the oil pump may be due to the early opening pressure point of the pressure limiting valve or the excessive clearance between the inner and outer rotors, the rotor and the pump body, and the pump cover and the rotor. Sometimes the connection between the inner rotor and the shaft is not firm, the shaft rotates, but the inner rotor does not rotate sometimes, which is also the reason for the low flow rate of the oil pump.
(2) High oil pressure will cause loss of engine power, affecting the seal and causing oil leakage.
When the pressure is too high, it will also damage the oil filter element, so that the oil cannot be filtered. The reason for the high oil pressure is that the pressure limiting valve of the oil pump is opened late or not opened, which fails to adjust the pressure of the oil outlet. Create a pressure limiting valve.
